This total soy complex, Aveeno Wrinkle Cream combines vitamin E and B5 to remove fines lines and wrinkles. Instructed to use predominately as a nighttime moisturizer, it is most productive when used in conjunciton with a daytime moisturizer containing SPF.   Therefore we had to use both products in order to review this one correctly.  Needless to say we were not happy about having to use two products just to get one to work.

However, during our 6 week testing period of this product, we found it quite comfortable to apply and very enjoyable to wear. Our skin looked refreshed and renewed. The problems with this product did not really come into play until the 4th week. It was then that we realized we were not going to see much in terms wrinkle reduction. Yes, our skin felt softer, but his is not called Aveeno Skin Feeling Softer Cream, it is a Radiant Wrinkle Cream. And therefore we expected results. This wrinkle cream unfortunately simply did not deliver. It is a fantastic nighttime moisturizer, but do not confuse this with an actual wrinkle reduction product.

There is very limited value with this particular wrinkle cream.  Reason being it is not effective enough to be considered a good wrinkle cream and too pricey for a regular moisturizer.  Can’t say its a decent value it you have to buy another product to make it work.

The Olay Regenerist cream was not the traditional type of cream that we ususally review here on our best wrinkle cream review site, but this is the first “big” name company that created a product in hopes of reaching serious wrinkle treatment status.  Our first impression of this cream was somewhat alarming, when we realized the price.  Priced well below the standard this cream was either going to use Olay’s size to deliver an extremely low priced cream, or was going to fall well short on the results.

Our experience with this product was unforturnately the latter.  It was quite obvious after only a few weeks that this product was priced low because of the level of results and the concentration of active ingredients.  There is no doubt that the use of peptides and other cellular regeneration ingredients is among the best way to treat wrinkles, however, it must be an appropriate concentration of the peptides and combined with a delivery cream that maximizes the benefits.  It was in these regards that Olay Regenerist missed its mark.

As we mentioned Olay Regenerist is priced well below the average for the best wrinkle creams.  It is an affordable price for an affordable portion of ingredients, it would be better served to increase the price and double the active agents and provide a potent enough wrinkle cream.  Unfortunately, there is not much value in this low price.  We saw no evidence of a Regenerist Wrinkle Treatment Scam, its a decent product, but unfortunately very limited results. Our Recommendation

If you do not have established wrinkles, or do not mind waiting 4-6 months to start to see results then this may be the product for you.  The problem is by the time you pay this price 6 times it has cost you more than just one bottle of the best wrinkle creams, and with those you would have results in 30-45 days.  Not sure this one makes financial sense no matter how you slice it.  During our testing period we documented limited and non visible results.  For those reasons we can not recommend Olay Regenerist.

The complete name of the product actually is High Resolution Fiberlastine Intensive Recovery Anti-Wrinkle, which shows how much Lancome is invested in highlighting that this formula contains the company’s proprietary Fiberlastine ingredient complex. This compound is intended to soften wrinkles and facial creases. High Resolution is specially meant for dry skin as it does contain moisturizers, but has very little ingredients intended to eliminate wrinkles.

It is difficult to precisely determine what Fiberlastine contains, since Lancome keeps the exact formula tightly guarded. From what the bestwrinklecreamsreview team of researchers was able to determine, however, the complex seems to feature peptides (proteins) associated with the production of elastin. In addition to collagen, elastin is an important component of healthy skin since it keeps skin flexible and able to stretch in response to environmental stressors. Elastin declines with age, so if Fiberlastine can help the body produce more of it, than this ingredient does have some merit. But it is difficult to obtain more information on the research behind the ingredients in this complex, making it hard to determine if it does what is promised.

We are concerned that while Lancome High Resolution addresses an important part of skin rejuvenation by encouraging elastin production, the product does nothing to help produce collagen, the other important element in the skin. This formula could have been improved by including ingredients that actually increases new skin cell growth.  In our experiences products that increase the rate of cellular regeneration have the best results in both short term and long term results.  Such is the case with our Top Rated Wrinkle Cream.

In addition, even though Lancome High Resolution seems to contain a few moisturizing agents, it does not seem to contain any copper peptides, which is one of the best wrinkle treatment ingredients available. If you watch the television at all and are modestly attentive to skin care commercials, you have most likely come across this Hydrolyze FREE TRIAL eye treatment.  The amount of reviews requested that we have received from our readers for an honest reviews of Hydrolyze was astounding.  We have heard everything about this product, is it a scam? To stories of its miracle treatment? After realizing just how many marketing dollars this company has been investing in this product’s promotion, we decided that a review here for our readers is not only appropriate, it is a must. 

Any of us who have tried a few different brands of anti-aging skin care products know that there is some hesitation needed when trying out a product that is only available as a “Free Trial” subscription.  That being said, we know the game and know the importance of reading the fine print, but it does merit mention here. (In case this process is new to you, read the fine print on any free trial so that you understand exactly how and when you will be charge, failing to do so is a costly and frustrating experience.)

The products arrived to us fairly quickly, and were in good condition and the containers seemed to be of average quality.  All seemed good so far.  The hype on this product is that it will treat wrinkles, dark circles, under-eye bags or puffiness; it is an all in one treatment.  After using this product for well over the “recommended” period of time to see results what we found was something else all-together.

Hydrolyze by Hydroxotone is a quality cream, it is well balanced and we didn’t have much skin irritation reported, at least not enough to raise concerns.  Our problem with Hydrolyze is its claims to treat dark circles and puffiness.  These are two very concerning symptoms to consumers and hydrolyze did very little to reduce either in our experience.  This eye treatment did reduce wrinkles some, and some of the testers were pleased with it and said they would continue the use.  However our testers that were primarily concerned with dark circles and puffiness did not report enough results for their, or our, satisfaction.

 
Overall

Overall Hydrolyze is an average product.  There are major concerns about the automatic billing and automatic shipping business model that they use, however if you understand it, you can avoid a nightmare.  The cream itself was just ok.  It did reduce some wrinkles, but we found its claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness vastly overstated.  If you don’t mind playing financial Russian roulette and you want to try something for free, perhaps this is the right choice.  But if you are searching for a quality eye treatment that delivers results on wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness, you’re better off with our Top Rated Eye Treatment.

Nanotokin is a brand name that is most likely new to many of us.  It has been establishing itself a bit more recently on the internet and it makes some impressive claims.  As many of you know, we are a review team that likes to see the active ingredients and the scientific documentation that supports the use of the product.  Nanotokin is a company that provides that information to you, and as a result, many readers have asked what our opinion of the product was.  To be honest, I have never known anyone that has used the product and for the first time entered a review, without some prior knowledge from a trusted source.

Nanotokin Claims to treat wrinkles, dark circles, under eye bags and puffiness.  Essentially a complete anti-aging treatment for the eye area, Nanotokin had our interest.  After an initial read through of the website, we found that Nanotokin actually uses 14 Active ingredients in their product and lists them all right there for you.  It concerned me right off.

We have used products or tested many of the active ingredients that were listed, and while some have proven results, others have very little.  What was even more concerning to us, was the fact that many of these active ingredients were redundant.  Meaning there were 3-4 ingredients being used per skin care condition.  It made very little sense from a formulation point of view, and if you know anything about creating wrinkle creams and anti-aging products, it is very rare to see this type of thing.

Our concerns were that it looked like an internet marketer grabbed a list of marketable ingredients, or ingredients that looked like generated some traffic online and threw them together so that the average consumer would think that they have found one “miracle” product that has all of the very best ingredients in it.  Our scientists, on the other hand, were much more skeptical. 

Results

The product was well balanced, and packaged neatly, not like many of the other smaller companies out there, and arrived in a reasonable amount of time.  Nanotokin is interesting in that it provides a sort of temporary effect on the skin.  Difficult to figure out which ingredient is doing so accurately, although many of their actives do provide instant, temporary effects.  The issue for us, was the lack of any lasting or therapeutic results.  Dark circles were not improved at all in our tests, and puffiness was only reduced marginally.  Most of the results came in the wrinkle treatment department, but those were only of the temporary sort.  An OK product, provided instant short term results is all you are interested in, for us it just didn’t deliver the complete treatment of dark circles, under eye bags, and wrinkles like our Top Rated Eye Treatment.

If you have ever watched television on a Sunday morning  you have probably seen the infomercial for Murad.   Joan London, and a host of celebrity guests review the cure to hormonal aging.  Murad Resurgence is a three product system dedicated to treating women who experience hormone changes as they age and wish to reverse those symptoms.  Murad is a reputable company that has a full product line and well respected within the community for many of their products.  It troubled us to see that they were promoting Resurgence with ‘free trial’ offers to consumers, we would normally expect more from them. 

Just because a product is offered via free trial does not make it a rip off, but it does increase the chances.   In Murad’s case, they are not offering a free trial on their only product, or one of three products, they have created an anti-aging system for their clients and have decided to compete with the free trial companies out there for consumers attention. 

We tried finding some of the active ingredients in the Resurgence, but were unable to do so anywhere on Murad’s website. This is somewhat troubling, but again we were somewhat willing to overlook it because it was Murad.  But the doubts on this product were starting to pile up.  Free trial, no active ingredients, and the fact that it is made only for hormonal women, and no one else; our positive attitude had only to do with brand recognition and awareness. 

The Results

What we found after using Murad Resurgence, is that sometimes large scale television promotions and endless content focusing on Dr. Murad can be rather persuasive.  We had high expectations of this product despite the fact that it was throwing up our traditional red flags everywhere.  And wouldn’t you know that we should have listened. 

Murad is a decent product, if it is intended for you.  The problem is that it is difficult to even identify if you are right for the treatment, the lack of information only makes this more difficult.  Comfortable to wear and they seemed to absorb rapidly giving us the impression that they were penetrating quickly.  Unfortunately for us, that is where the positives end.  We simply didn’t see the level of results required to see visible changes in the mirror.  That is not saying that we didn’t see some wrinkle reduction under close observation and that surface layers of the skin hadn’t improved in health and luster.  But we did not see anything to support the claims made on television and the results certainly didn’t rank up there with our best wrinkle creams.

Overall, When you factor in the free trial headache, the lack of documented ingredients or at least the clinical studies to support the use of this product, we are going to say pass.  Resurgence is an average product, and it may be the answer for you, but during our testing, we have seen much more effective products, and therefore cannot recommend Murad Resurgence.

Youthology is a brand that gets a lot of searches on the internet and our readers have a good deal of interest in us reviewing the product here.  Youthology is one of those companies that has a strange offer, where they are providing you a number of products together as a ‘Regimen’ but it is very hard to get just one of the products by itself, or purchase it individually.  Most of the interest that our readers have had in Youthology is in their 90 Second Wrinkle Removing Eye Serum.

Unfortunately, we had to expose ourselves to yet another “free trial” gimmick, which should really just be called credit card billing nightmares instead.  We have done this before and we understand the process and how we get charged, but it is always worth mentioning for those consumers who don’t read the small print closely.

The initial read through of the Youthology 90 Second Wrinkle Removing website indicates that this product is primarily designed to treat wrinkles.  It says that dark circles or puffiness will ‘appear’ less visible, but it does not actually treat the problems.  Usually a strike against a product for us, but then again the product name does not say that it does anything more.

The Youthology Regimen arrived in a reasonable time frame and it was neatly packaged.  It was really when we started to use the products for a couple days that we started to understand why products were sold in the way in which they are.  The serum seems to be of decent quality but it really only delivers moisture to the wrinkle area, hoping that the moisture in the skin cells will appear as though wrinkles were reduced.  Furthermore, it is not really an eye specific product, something that we are seeing more and more of in the industry these days.  This is a temporary wrinkle remover / moisturizer, not a true eye serum. 

The Results

As much as we would love to tell you that this free trial offer was the best thing that we have ever come across the reality is that it is sup-par in the quality department.  As an eye serum, this barely even makes our list of products worthy review and it certainly doesn’t compare to our Top Rated Eye Treatment.  If you are purchasing this as a temporary fix for crow’s feet or laugh lines perhaps this is the choice for you.  Personally, we think that Youthology needed a product that fulfilled their eye treatment need in their skin care regimen, and they thought by naming this product an eye serum consumers would think they are getting what they need.  Exercise caution on this one, we showed very limited results and this does not treat dark circles, under-eye bags, or puffiness at all.  This is strictly for wrinkles, and it is not overly impressive in that regard.

We are finding that Perricone is a name that we are continually hearing more and more about, at least in the e-commerce segment of the anti-aging marketplace.  The Eye Treatment By Perricone MD was intriguing to us due to the Cold Plasma Eye Treatment name it was given.  I know that may sound silly, but it’s catchy and it grabbed my attention and I was honestly interested in finding more about the product.

After a quick glance of their webpage however, my genuine excitement was replaced with a certain suspicion.  This is a common feeling for us consumers in the skin care market.  We are always hopeful that this one, is the one that we have been searching for.  Unfortunately for us, they seldom are and we are out some hard earned money.  While my gut has been proved wrong on occasion in the past, I found a few things concerning that are worth mentioning. 

It is designed to treat dry, puffy eyes.  Those choice of words were concerning to me, as a regular moisturizer would do those things.  Saying it is designed to “deliver optimal hydration and minimize the appearance of puffiness and dark circles” struck me as strange, so I decided to look a bit further into the active ingredients.

We were unable to locate any sort of active ingredients listed on the website that would indicate the type of treatment they were describing.  That being said, we continued on to the testing portion, each of us with different predictions of what this product will do.

The Results

Well, I will say this; the product does deliver moisture to the eye area, and does so rather well.  This is not uncommon with eye creams, gels or serums, but because they prefaced the moisture as the primary treatment of the product, it is certainly worth mentioning that it did deliver said moisture.   Our problem with Perricone MD Cold Plasma Eye Treatment, comes with the second part of their claim.  The minimizing the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.  We were not able to document any changes in dark circles significant enough worth mentioning, and only a few testers saw reduction in puffiness.  Wrinkles were reduced a bit and our eye area felt healthier, but as far as results, it simply missed the mark.  Hands down a great moisturizer, but as far as a dark circle or puffiness treatment, it does not compare to our Top Rated Eye Treatment.

We did not review any of the other Perricone MD Product line and our independent test of the Cold Plasma Eye Treatment should not reflect in anyway on any of the other products in their range.  We have several  members of our staff, who thoroughly enjoy their product line, and were shocked my our results with this one.
