Honest Wrinkle Cream / Eye Treatment Reviews

The internet has undoubtedly played a huge role in the anti-aging skin care market. It has changed the landscape and the way in which companies do business. Websites like this one and countless others are supposedly there to educate consumers as to which products are the best for the given treatment that consumers are looking for. The problem with this is the fact that so few of them even try to pretend to be honest about things. There is an agenda from the very beginning.
Let me ask you one question. How many products have your tried that left you unsatisfied? For most of us, it is several, if not significantly higher figures. How than, may I ask, are there so many sites that offer reviews of 3-5 products each of which when you actually read the reviews, give a glowing opinion. As consumers, our job is not to test products regularly, yet in our limited experience we are exposed to products that don’t work. These websites are supposedly designed to offer us opinions about anti-aging products as a service or aid to us, yet what they are really doing is recommending each of the products that they list there. Sure they may rate them slightly lower on the scale than others, but when you read it, each review on the website is positive. How can that be? We have tried only a handful and we have found some we have some choice words for. Is it that these sites are only recommending the best products that they have found and don’t care about offering you the truth about the others? Or are they being compensated for their recommendations. Either way, as a consumer, we want to take the opinion of the website, with a grain of salt. At the very least the integrity of the recommendation is in question.
Now, let me go ahead and clear up a few things about this website. We offer our honest reviews about the products that we test both good and bad. It just so happens that the best anti-aging products for the face as well as the best eye treatments that we have found are both made by Dermagist (formerly Dermajuv). We review as many products here on the site that we can afford and have the time to do. Not being a major corporation and trying to offer our advice and expertise in our spare time, we are somewhat limited in what we can and cannot do, however each and every opinion stated is from the reviews of products actually performed by us for the benefit of you.
As consumers, we are always very hopeful of the products that we purchase, because we WANT them to work. We want to look younger, we want our wrinkles, dark circles and age spots to fade. It would be even better if the products that work, would fit our budgets, but if not, we still want to try them. The problem with this mentality is that we are going in looking for reasons to purchase the products, not looking for an honest opinion of whether or not it will work. We want things now, free, or as cheap as possible, instead of understanding that the best anti-aging treatments will most likely come in the form of a purchase vs. free trial and that it will take time for the products to deliver the level of results we expect.
We can point the finger at websites that are intending to mislead us into purchasing certain products rather than giving honest reviews and letting us choose for ourselves. But the truth is (and that’s what we are promising here) is that we are just as much to blame. We need to stop taking things at face value, do some research, even if it takes time. Don’t fall for a scam just because there is a celebrity you used to like back in the day as a paid endorsement. Think about it, they are paid for their opinion, do you honestly think that they are going to say the products are terrible, and still get paid? Of course not. Let’s shoulder the blame for our purchases in the past and take the proper steps to research our next wrinkle cream or eye gel prior to paying for it. I promise it will save you money in the long run.
