This total soy complex, Aveeno Wrinkle Cream combines vitamin E and B5 to remove fines lines and wrinkles. Instructed to use predominately as a nighttime moisturizer, it is most productive when used in conjunciton with a daytime moisturizer containing SPF.   Therefore we had to use both products in order to review this one correctly.  Needless to say we were not happy about having to use two products just to get one to work.

The Olay Regenerist cream was not the traditional type of cream that we ususally review here on our best wrinkle cream review site, but this is the first “big” name company that created a product in hopes of reaching serious wrinkle treatment status.  Our first impression of this cream was somewhat alarming, when we realized the price.  Priced well below the standard this cream was either going to use Olay’s size to deliver an extremely low priced cream, or was going to fall well short on the results. The complete name of the product actually is High Resolution Fiberlastine Intensive Recovery Anti-Wrinkle, which shows how much Lancome is invested in highlighting that this formula contains the company’s proprietary Fiberlastine ingredient complex. This compound is intended to soften wrinkles and facial creases. High Resolution is specially meant for dry skin as it does contain moisturizers, but has very little ingredients intended to eliminate wrinkles. (more…)

Nanotokin is a brand name that is most likely new to many of us.  It has been establishing itself a bit more recently on the internet and it makes some impressive claims.  As many of you know, we are a review team that likes to see the active ingredients and the scientific documentation that supports the use of the product.  Nanotokin is a company that provides that information to you, and as a result, many readers have asked what our opinion of the product was.  To be honest, I have never known anyone that has used the product and for the first time entered a review, without some prior knowledge from a trusted source.

Nanotokin Claims to treat wrinkles, dark circles, under eye bags and puffiness.  Essentially a complete anti-aging treatment for the eye area, Nanotokin had our interest.  After an initial read through of the website, we found that Nanotokin actually uses 14 Active ingredients in their product and lists them all right there for you.  It concerned me right off. If you have ever watched television on a Sunday morning  you have probably seen the infomercial for Murad.   Joan London, and a host of celebrity guests review the cure to hormonal aging.  Murad Resurgence is a three product system dedicated to treating women who experience hormone changes as they age and wish to reverse those symptoms.  Murad is a reputable company that has a full product line and well respected within the community for many of their products.  It troubled us to see that they were promoting Resurgence with ‘free trial’ offers to consumers, we would normally expect more from them. 

Just because a product is offered via free trial does not make it a rip off, but it does increase the chances.   In Murad’s case, they are not offering a free trial on their only product, or one of three products, they have created an anti-aging system for their clients and have decided to compete with the free trial companies out there for consumers attention.  (more…)

Youthology is a brand that gets a lot of searches on the internet and our readers have a good deal of interest in us reviewing the product here.  Youthology is one of those companies that has a strange offer, where they are providing you a number of products together as a ‘Regimen’ but it is very hard to get just one of the products by itself, or purchase it individually.  Most of the interest that our readers have had in Youthology is in their 90 Second Wrinkle Removing Eye Serum.

Unfortunately, we had to expose ourselves to yet another “free trial” gimmick, which should really just be called credit card billing nightmares instead.  We have done this before and we understand the process and how we get charged, but it is always worth mentioning for those consumers who don’t read the small print closely. Avotone claims that it is the ‘Number One Wrinkle Cream in the World.’  Statements like that are begging for reviews from real consumers.  Our readers have been requesting reviews of Avotone for a while now, but when you are testing a number of products, sometimes the reviews get backed up.  Such is the case with Avotone.  We would have loved to have this review done 6 months ago, however we are just now completing the testing period. 

Avotone has been getting a lot of attention recently from internet consumers, and the combination of Argireline and Avocado Oil is the secret behind this wrinkle cream’s success.  Most of us have used products that contain Argireline before. (it is common in many anti-aging products such as Lifecell).  What we have not used before in large quantities is Avocado Oil.  (more…)

This popular cream has been getting alot of reviews.  The goal of this product is to reduce the ability of your eyes to be able to see this product.  Deception does contain some moisturizing qualities, however it is not designed to actually treat or heal the wrinkles on your face. Athena 7 Minute Lift claims to deliver amazing results with in 7 minutes.  This instant result product provides you with a softer smoother face, but also has a numbing, tingly sensation.  Our faces were left feeling refreshed and we were rather happy with the end result of the product.  The issue, however, was that we had a number of breakouts and reports of skin irritation.

HydroDerm wrinkle cream is a topical delivered collagen treatment.  This unique wrinkle cream was quite popular due to its promise of a Free Trial.  Many consumers have made all sorts of claims regarding the false nature of this free trial and suspect results.  In our independent testing of this products the results the results were unfortunately similar to that which we heard on forums.  Our testing of our product began by signing up for the “Free Trial,” the problem is it is nothing other than a veiled attempt to get a monthly subscription out of each consumer.  (more…)

We decided to offer reviews of Dermavisu, after a reader recommended we do so.  It was, however, Dermavisu themselves that made us feel compelled to share our review with everyone.  Dermavisu Anti-Aging Serum is an extraordinarily high priced product, and the claims it makes begs a staff like us to review Dermavisu.  We do not make our judgments prior to testing the product, and there have been plenty of times when we had to eat crow because we thought a product would be great and it turned out to be nonsense, but when a company says  that 100% of people who use the product receive results,

Dermavisu, may or may not be a great anti-aging serum, at this point in our testing we have not applied it, but 100% just doesn’t happen, ever.  And to do so make outrageous claims without actually discussing the active ingredients, or how the product works, seems very strange to us.  When coupled with the $250 price tag, it makes it seem like they are using price to sway the opinions of consumers.  ‘It must be good if it costs $250’ is a common thought process for consumers whether or not you can believe it.  (more…)
